Maimun Palace is one of the Malay heritage buildings designed by architects State Pizza and finished on August 25, 1888 AD during the reign of Sultan Ma'mun Al Rashid Perkasa Alam. Sultan Ma'mun himself was the eldest son of Sultan Mahmud Perkasa Alam, founder of the city of Medan.
Color Deli Sultanate palace was dominated by yellow which is the color of a typical Malay kingdoms. Maimun palace is built on a land area of 2772 square meters in the center of the kingdom Deli, now the Brig Katamso, Medan, North Sumatra.
